When lowering the weight, your front knee should not extend past your front toes.

Step by step instructions

  1. Hold dumbbells with palms facing in and arms by your side.
  2. Step forward with your first leg until your back knee almost makes contact with the floor.
  3. Bring your back leg forward and stand up.
  4. Repeat for desired reps alternating your left and right leg.
