Strength Training Exercise - Rope Extension

This exercise requires a rope apparatus for the cable machine.

Step by step instructions

  1. Facing cable machine, stand 1-2 feet away with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Holding rope ends in each hand, bring elbows to sides, shoulders back. Make sure upper arms stay in this position throughout.
  3. Slowly lower rope and hold for 1-2 counts. Keep wrists straight.
  4. Slowly bring rope back up until elbows are at a 90 degree angle. This is one rep.
  5. Pause and repeat until failure.
  6. Enjoy the burn.
