Completed the 'Run For the Cure" 5K walk to end Breast Cancer. A sore knee and that was it. No tiredness, no losing my breath, no sore back, just a little knee pain.

September 1st, I started a diet programme. I've lost 11 lbs, my blood pressure is down to 119 over 84 and my resting pulse is 74. I'm feeling pretty good about that.

September 1st, I started a diet programme. I've lost 11 lbs and my blood pressure is down to 119 over 84. I'm feeling pretty happy about that.

I just myself a set of roller blades and thre protective equipment. I've never been a great skater, but I'm going to give this a try.

I just finished a two week dance tour. I got some flexibility, stamina and balance back. Shin splint was the only pain. I'm buying a Wii with the money I made along with Wii Fit. I also bought a stability ball and resistance bands for home.

Awesome man. I hate shin splints. I seem to get em a lot especially when I run on pavement. Enjoy the Wii

I had a set back. My aunt passed on. As you can see, I'm Aboriginal. Most of our traditions involve alot of food. I literally lost my breath from having too much to eat. I'm back in Toronto so back to eating normal.

I'm not sure what BOSU Ball is. We use a large inflated ball made of pliable plastic and we also use a set of resistance bands. We're actually allowed to use the balls as our desk chairs.

Last thing, if you are a competitive person, setting goals can be another good source of motivation. When you have goals (again make them realistic and not a goal to achieve something that's going to cause injury) the drive to achieve those goals becomes motivational.

Also, other than from within, sometimes having a workout partner serves a good source for motivation.

Lance for me, the motivation derives from self respect and the idea that I owe it to myself to maintain a healthy body. As we get older and our bodies naturally weaken, the affects of working out will have a huge impact. Don't get discouraged if you can't do (weights, flexibility, etc.) all that u could when u were younger.
